Description

Epistane 10mg, also known as methepitiostane, is a methylated derivative of the Japanese anabolic/anti-estrogenic steroid mepitiostane (thioderon). It is a c-17alpha alkylated steroid that is similar in action and effects to the popular dehydrotestosterone-derived Winstrol/Stanozolol and Anavar/Oxandrolone. It falls into the grey area of prescription drug/OTC supplement and is marketed in the US as a sports nutrition supplement.

Dosage and Administration for Epistane 10mg

The recommended dosage for Epistane is 10-20 mg/day for 6-8 weeks, which is often enough to keep blood serum levels well above baseline with this particular drug. However, many bodybuilders consume more aggressive dosages of 30 mg/day for 4-6 weeks. It is also safely and effectively administered by women at 5 mg/day for 4-6 weeks.

Indications and Purpose

Epistane is used for bodybuilding and athletic purposes as it increases testosterone levels which induce substantial increases in bodily shape and size, largely due to its ability to increase muscle fibers. It also protects muscle from catabolic hormones and increase red blood cell production.

Side Effects of Epistane 10mg

Epistane has low aromatization which means it is free from estrogenic side effects, but androgenic side effects such as oily skin, acne, body/facial hair growth, and testicular atrophy may occur due to elevated testosterone levels. It also affects liver and testosterone production, and it is recommended to use liver detoxification supplements. Natural testosterone production may also be shut down with the use of synthetic testosterone and other steroids.
